“Stop Judgment Day” campaign reminds the world that the future is not set and promotes security designed to keep AI within defined boundaries

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — ThreatLocker™, a global leader in securing AI, today announced a global advertising campaign featuring the iconic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day to deliver a powerful message about the future of artificial intelligence: humanity losing control is not inevitable.

Stop Judgement Day with ThreatLocker security for AI

The campaign comes as warnings about the potential consequences of advanced AI have moved fears once associated with science fiction into mainstream public debate. There is growing fear that AI could “kill us all by the end of the decade.” A recent Quinnipiac University poll found 73% of Americans are concerned that future AI systems could potentially threaten human survival.

ThreatLocker is taking a different message to the public. As Terminator 2 famously put it, “The future’s not set. There’s no fate but what we make for ourselves.” Organizations do not have to choose between embracing AI and surrendering control. Security tools can establish boundaries around what AI is permitted to access and do, then enforce those boundaries independently of the AI itself.

“Terminator 2 gave the world one of the most memorable visions of what could happen when machines operate outside human control,” said Danny Jenkins, CEO and co-founder of ThreatLocker. “Today, people are hearing frightening warnings about where AI could lead, but that is not a future we have to accept. We can put AI to work while setting boundaries around what it is allowed to do and enforcing those boundaries. We want people to know there are solutions, and they can adopt AI without handing over the keys.”

The campaign begins with out-of-home advertising across the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, including billboards, airports, public transportation and other high-visibility placements. ThreatLocker digital properties will also feature the campaign, with additional creative content and commercials planned for the coming months.

The campaign follows the launch this week of ThreatLocker Zero Trust AI Control (ZTAIC), which applies Zero Trust principles to agentic AI. ZTAIC allows organizations to define what AI agents can access, launch, connect to and change, with controls enforced outside the AI itself and maintained as agents invoke other applications and processes.
